The Vítkovice Steel Endowment Fund, established in 2006, is dedicated to supporting the improvement of the quality of life of children, youth and seniors in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Our activities are focused on providing help where it is most needed. Our vision is to provide direct support to families in a difficult life situation, children with mental or physical disabilities, persons with health problems.
Since our inception, we have contributed nearly 76 million CZK to projects in our region. These funds have been used to support specific families, provide necessary medical equipment and finance treatment and rehabilitation programmes. The Foundation’s activities are producing real results and improving the lives of many people in our region.

People from Steel help
A heart of steel beats for good: Vítkovice Steel employees hand out aid with a smile
Every year, our colleagues can nominate non-profit organizations and families in need of financial assistance. Vítkovice Steel supports its employees who want to help those in need in this way, which is why the Vítkovice Steel Foundation’s “People from Steel help” programme was created.
The “People of Steel Help” programme has been running since 2015 and serves as a platform for funding and coordinating volunteer projects, giving employees the opportunity to fully develop their charitable ideas.
In every appeal of the foundation, it is proven that the People of Steele can and want to help and motivate their colleagues by their example. Each year, the Foundation considers dozens of projects full of enthusiasm and dedication.
